Sounds to good to be true? It is and it isn't. Yes. I've hyped it up a bit. But the fact is that loan officer marketing requires work and a little research. But once you get your mortgage marketing and lead generation up and running, and you test a few things in your marketing, it will return rewards that you only dreamed of before.

See, most mortgage brokers and loan officers are trained by banks and mentor's that really don't care about them. They just want to see the applications written up and signed by pre-qualified prospects. loan officer marketing is not their specialty. Most mortgage brokers and loan officers forget about their clients. I know. Maybe you call them once in while. But you have to do more. You have to make them feel important again. And guess who they are going to use for their next loan, and guess who they are going to refer their friends and family to after you accomplish this?

Marketing Tip #2:

Create a 'widget' to use in your marketing campaigns. A widget is something that you will offer in exchange for prospective clients contact information. You want to get permission from prospects to contact them and/or get their business. A widget can be a special report, guide, audio, or video. It has to be something with value. It also must be congruent with your services. These are also referred to as information products. Information is cheap to create, but it has high perceived value to those seeking information and solutions to their problems.
